Appeal and Hearing Process

When the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS) receives a verbal or written request to appeal a denial, reduction, closure, or other adverse action related to Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), staff must begin the appeal process.
