Missouri House narrowly passes bill to regulate gray-market slot machines
The Missouri Independent reports that the Missouri House of Representatives narrowly approved legislation to create a state-run video lottery system that would regulate and replace unlicensed “gray-market” slot machines. The proposed system would let the Missouri Lottery license and oversee the machines, require them to return a certain percentage of wagers as prizes, and direct tax and fee revenue to education and possibly other state programs like disability services.
